New Protein Pockets from Subway Have A Spicy Option

This national sandwich chain is shifting its focus to protein to start the new year as people are focused on losing weight. Here is the description of their new Protein Pockets from the press release:

Protein Pockets feature a soft tortilla with a toasty wheat flavor that perfectly complements a curated selection of protein, hand-chopped vegetables and fan-favorite sauces. Each Protein Pocket piles on more than 20g of protein, making it a smart choice for protein-conscious guests and flavor seekers alike.

They have four varieties available, one of which–the Baja Chicken–brings some kick with its tender grilled chicken strips, Monterey cheddar, lettuce, roma tomatoes, jalapeños and Baja Chipotle sauce. The other options are Peppercorn Ranch Chicken, Italian Trio, Turkey & Ham. These sell for $3.99 and they are here for the dreaded limited time only.

A Fan-Favorite Returns to Hunt Brothers

Hunt Brothers–the pizza chain attached to many convenience stores–is bringing back the fan-favorite Buffalo Chicken Pizza to kick off the new year. This pie has been on regular rotation at Hunt locations and it is back in stores as of January 19th. Following is the description from the press release:

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza combines Hunt Brothers Pizza’s original crust topped with a mixture of ranch dressing and buffalo wing sauce, a blend of 100% natural part-skim Mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses, and a generous portion of diced chicken. Maruchan Introduces Saucy Noods

Maruchan is known for its Ramen noodles, and now they are introducing a new product aimed at consumers seeking “intense flavors”. Saucy Noods Stir-Fry Style Noodles deliver “a bold, new product line designed for noodle lovers who crave rich, sauce-forward flavor”. Two flavors are currently available– Spicy Creamy Chicken and Spicy Chicken–both of which promise some heat. Here is the description from the press release:

Spicy Creamy Chicken features a cheesy, creamy sauce that complements extreme spice, delivering a rich and indulgent experience. Spicy Chicken is packed with chili and habanero, offering a spicy sauce that brings a fiery kick of flavor to every bite.
