McDonald’s Add a KPop Demon Hunters Collaboration with a Kick

The animated film KPop Demon Hunters has been a regular presence in the Netflix charts for months, and now McDonald’s is jumping on with that property to offer some spicy new selections. The new The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal will be centered around the Spicy Saja McMuffin, and the The HUNTR/X Meal offers two new spicy sauces. Here is the rundown from the press release:

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal: Think you can resist the Saja Boys? The hottest K-pop demon group is stealing the spotlight with the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, channeling their signature heartthrob charm with a:

Spicy Saja McMuffin®: A Sausage McMuffin® with Egg, topped with a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce — inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma.
Hash Browns: Our signature hash browns, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — just like the Saja Boys’ leader Jinu.
Small Soft Drink: Your choice of a little “Soda Pop” to cool down from the heat.

The HUNTR/X Meal: HUNTR/X is taking the stage for the rest of the day to show fans “how it’s done, done, done!” The HUNTR/X Meal makes the Golden Arches even more “Golden” and includes a 10-pc. Chicken McNuggets®, medium soft drink and three limited-time menu items:

Ramyeon McShaker™ Fries: A spicy, umami spin on our World Famous Fries® featuring a soy, garlic, sesame and spice seasoning — inspired by Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s go-to snack. Sprinkle the seasoning into the McShaker bag, add fries, and shake for a bold taste that’s true to South Korean flavors.
Hunter Sauce: A sweet chili sauce mixing notes of chili, garlic and pepper with just enough heat inspired by HUNTR/X’s fierce, yet fun-loving personalities.
Demon Sauce: A bold mustard sauce with heat and tang — made purple, just like demon patterns.

And while it looks like the movie may never leave the streaming charts, these meals are limited time selections. So KPop Demon Hunters fans should make a trip to the drive thru soon.

Maruchan Teams Up with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

Maruchan adds Instant Lunch Flamin' Hot® Chicken Flavor

Maruchan has picked up on a viral trend of people adding Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to their noodles, and now a new flavor is coming to the shelves. Here is the description from the press release:

The Maruchan Instant Lunch Flamin’ Hot® Chicken Flavor brings together a rich, savory chicken broth with unmistakable blazing chili heat and a hint of cheesy flavor. The result is a craveable, unapologetically fiery cup with a lingering heat fans won’t forget—made without any artificial dyes or colors.

There is no indication at this time that these are a limited-time item, so they should be available on shelves as long as sales are good.

Hungry Howie’s Spices Up Its Crust

Hungry Howie’s

Are you one who argues that pineapple should not be on top of pizza? Well, what about inside pizza? Hungry Howie’s is adding a new “swicy” (sweet and spicy) crust to their menu that may change your mind about pineapple and pizza. Here is the description from the press release:

Pineapple Jalapeño Flavored Crust: The new flavor blends real pineapple sweetness with the bold kick of jalapeño, creating a uniquely balanced sweet‑heat profile baked directly into Hungry Howie’s made‑fresh‑daily dough. The result is a crispy crust coated in a sweet pineapple glaze with a zesty jalapeño kick, delivering the perfect balance of sweet and heat. By taking pineapple from the topping list and infusing it into the crust itself, Hungry Howie’s introduces an unexpected twist on one of pizza culture’s most enduring debates.

This will be available for the dreaded limited time only at all locations through June 28th or while supplies last.
