Spicy Food News: Taco Bell Adds Two Steak Burritos, Panda Express Tests a Dynamite Chicken Dish, and More
Taco Bell Adds to Its Cravings Menu
This national Mexican-inspired chain is adding to its menu again, but this time around no chicken is involved. Instead, they are focusing on expanding their $3 cravings menu with two new steak burritos. Here is the description provided by QSR Magazine:
Chipotle Ranch Grilled Steak Burrito: Crisp, fresh, and full of texture, this burrito features marinated grilled steak, Chipotle Ranch sauce, Avocado Ranch, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and crispy Fiesta tortilla strips—all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.
Cheesy Melt Grilled Steak Burrito: Rich and creamy, this indulgent option combines marinated grilled steak with a melty three-cheese blend, Jalapeño Ranch, reduced-fat sour cream, and seasoned rice. It’s then grilled to perfection for added texture and flavor.
Of course, these are on loan from Limited-Time-Only-Ville and will be available “while supplies last”. So grab them while you can because things disappear from The Bell pretty quickly!
Panda Express Teams with Buldak to Bring the Heat

Panda Express has added Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken to its menu in a partnership with Buldak. The latter is a brand of Ramen noodles from Samyang known for kicking up the heat and they have created an exclusive sauce for the Asian food chain. Following is the description of the dish provided by QSR Magazine:
Blending the nostalgic tang of traditional sweet and sour sauce with Buldak’s signature intensity, Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken brings together crispy marinated chicken breast bites, coated in a light puffed rice batter, wok-tossed with red bell peppers, onions, and a custom-formulated Buldak sauce.
This new offering, which is described as “the spiciest dish we’ve ever launched”, is being tested in ten markets, and could become available nationwide if it proves popular.
Wingstop Adds a Sauce With Pucker

National wings chain Wingstop is adding a new limited flavor to its lineup, and this one delivers some heat and pucker. Hot Lemon is described as a blend of their OG Buffalo Sauce and zesty Lemon Pepper seasoning. They give it three out of five flames which should put it somewhere between Medium and Hot on my scale. This will only stick around for a while, though (likely through football season), so you will want to make a trip to one of their locations soon if it sounds tempting.
