Wendy’s Adds Saucy Nuggs to the Menu

The chicken nuggets from Wendy’s have long been fan favorites, and now that chain is adding sauces to those (and calling them “Saucy Nuggs”), some of which bring a kick. Seven total sauces will be offered with the nuggets: Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Spicy Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parm, Spicy Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper. Here is the official description of the five that have some heat:

Buffalo: A beloved staple that always has your back! This sauce has buttery undertones with a subtle touch of vinegar that keeps you coming back for more.

Spicy Honey BBQ: The perfect balance of sweet and spicy, fans looking to level up their Honey BBQ journey will be met with the ultimate flavor explosion.

Spicy Garlic Parm: A fiery twist on a classic! Fans will pick up on the sweetness and the sharpness of four types of roasted garlic packed into this garlic parm sauce.

Spicy Buffalo: Wendy’s Spicy Buffalo delivers an intense kick balanced by a subtle tang of vinegar that won’t disappoint.

Spicy Ghost Pepper: Time to kick it up a notch (or two) with Wendy’s unique Spicy Ghost Pepper sauce! An intensely spicy experience with a lingering depth that only the Queen of Spice can create. This sauce is perfect for the adventurous person who wants to dial it up on the spice-o-meter.

These will be served with a side of Ranch or Bleu Cheese and they are available nationwide in stores now. There is no indication at this point on whether these are limited-time-only items.

Panda Express Kicks Up Its Orange Chicken

The Orange Chicken from Panda Express is another fan-favorite fast food item and that one now has a kicked-up version on the menu.  The Hot Orange Chicken is the same as the original but it also has “six scoops of crushed chillis and a ladle full of dried chillis” thrown in to bring some heat.  This counts as a regular entre and can be ordered as a bowl (entre plus one side) or a plate (two entres plus two sides).   It is currently on loan from Limited-Time-Only-Ville, so you will want to try it out soon if it sounds tempting.

Club Crackers Team Up With Mike’s Hot Honey

Mike’s Hot Honey strikes again as that spicy condiment is now getting added to Club Crackers.  Here is the official description from the website:

Our light and buttery Club® Crisps flavored with Mike’s Hot Honey®’s signature sweet-heat combo of 100% pure honey infused with chili peppers.

These are in stores now and are likely a limited-time-only item, though they could stick around if sales are good.
