Taco Bell Adds Jalapeno Ranch to Its Nacho Fries
The Bell’s Nacho Fries have become a popular item on the menu, and a new loaded version of those are headed to stores. Following is the description of the Jalapeno Ranch Nacho Fries from the press release:
Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries feature Taco Bell’s iconic, crisp fries seasoned with bold Mexican spices, topped with a tangy and creamy Jalapeño Ranch sauce. This delectable sauce, made with buttermilk, sour cream, garlic, red jalapeño, pasilla peppers, parsley, and spices, adds a bit of heat to the beloved menu item. The fries are further enhanced with zesty pico de gallo and can be customized with your choice of protein, either seasoned beef or black beans.
These will sell for $4.49 (though price will vary by region) and they will start their limited-time engagement on July 18th. In addition, the Nacho Fries Pass is back which costs $10 and will get you one regular order of Nacho Fries per day for 30 consecutive days. That offer ends on July 15th.
Zaxbys Offers Chicken Finger Tacos
Zaxby’s is wrapping up its popular chicken fingers in a tortilla and adding something new to the the menu with the Avocado Ranch BLT Tacos and the Chipotle Ranch with Pico Tacos. The latter promises to deliver a kick and following is the description from their website:
Chipotle Ranch with Pico Tacos: Brings an iconic Zaxbys hand-breaded chicken finger together with shredded Iceberg lettuce, Cheddar Jack cheese and Pico de Gallo, smothered in Zaxbys mild heat Chipotle Ranch sauce and nestled in a warmed flour tortilla.
These are available in stores now but will be headed back to Limited-Time-Only-Ville at some point.
KFC Sauces Up Its Chicken Sandwich
KFC is giving you the option of saucing up your chicken sandwiches with one its new sauces. The choices are Honey BBQ, Korean BBQ, and Honey Sriracha with the last of those three bringing some heat. They previously had Nashville Hot as an option for saucing up their nuggets (more on that here), but that does not appear to be available with the new chicken sandwich. If they still have that sauce in the location, though, you may be able to ask for it. The only way to currently order the Saucy Chicken Sandwich is through the app, and this is a limited-time-only deal.
Shipley’s Adds New Kolaches
Texas-based donut chain Shipley’s is expanding its lineup of kolaches by adding several egg and cheese varieties, and one of those brings a kick. (What’s a kolache you ask? Find out about that here.) The Shipley’s kolaches are baked fresh daily with light, fluffy yeast dough and usually stuffed with sausage and cheese or ham and cheese, but now they are cracking open some eggs. The one that will interest those looking for some spice with their morning coffee is the egg, cheese, sausage, and jalapeno option. This sells for $3.49 (price may vary) and will be available in stores through September 30th. I happen to be a big lover of kolaches, so watch for an upcoming review of these.
