Taco Bell Adds Caliente Cantina Chicken Nacho Fries
The Bell has been adding new items left and right lately and its most recent addition combines fan-favorite Nacho Fries with the chain’s new Caliente Chicken. Here is the description from the website:
Boldly seasoned Nacho Fries topped with savory, slow-roasted chicken, warm Nacho Cheese sauce, Caliente sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, crunchy fiesta strips, and Reduced-fat sour cream.
That sells for $4.99 in my area and this also mean that Nacho Fries are back on the menu in medium size ($2.49 in my area) and large ($3.49). But seeing as this is Taco Bell, you know that these will only be around for the dreaded limited time so you will want to pay visit soon for your Nacho Fries fix.
Subway Drizzles on Hot Honey
Hot Honey is everywhere as the “swicy” (sweet and spicy) trend continues to heat up, and Subway is jumping onboard that ship with two new sandwiches. Here is the description from the press release:
Hot Honey Pepperoni layers zesty pepperoni with creamy provolone and crisp lettuce, tomatoes and red onions on toasted Artisan Italian bread, all drizzled with sweet and spicy hot honey sauce.
Hot Honey Chicken features tender rotisserie-style chicken and melted Monterey Cheddar, topped with lettuce, tomatoes and red onions on Artisan Italian bread. The sub features a bold duo of Hot Honey sauce and Creamy Sriracha and is finished with SubKrunch™, the savory, crispy sandwich topping only found at Subway.
This time around it is not the ever-present Mike’s Hot Honey, though as they are just referring to it as “Subway’s Hot Honey sauce”. The new sandwiches will be joining the lineup at store’s across the country on April 3rd, and of course they are on loan from Limited-Time-Only-Ville.
McDonald’s Adds Nether Flame Sauce
The Golden Arches has added Minecraft Happy Meals to the menu, and along with that they are offering a new dipping option: Nether Flame Sauce. Here is the description from the website:
Feel the heat of the Nether with crushed red pepper and flaming cayenne. Crafted with fiery flavor, this hot sauce gives hints of savory garlic and subtle sweetness.
This is, of course, around for a limited time only, and if it is anything like the Szechuan Sauce craze, it could disappear pretty quickly.
