Spicy Food News: Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich Returns to Whataburger, Bush Beans Kick Up the Heat

The Buffalo Ranch Sandwich Makes a Return Trip

A Whataburger fan-favorite is back at the drive thru for another limited time visit. For those not familiar with the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich, here is the official description from the press release:

Stacked with three crispy Whatachick’n® Strips, Monterey Jack cheese, and smothered in Buffalo Sauce and Creamy Buttermilk Ranch, this sandwich packs a little heat, and a lot of flavor – all on a five-inch bun.

There is also a junior version that has two chicken strips instead of three and comes on a smaller bun (you can read my review at this link). This sandwich is on the regular limited-time rotation, and should stick around for several months. And for those who want to try making it at home, Whataburger’s Buffalo Sauce and Creamy Buttermilk Ranch are available at grocery stores.

Bush Beans Teams with Mike’s Hot Honey

Mike’s Hot Honey strikes again as that ubiquitous spicy condiment is getting added to Bush’s Best Grillin’ Beans. Here is the description from the website:

These tender navy beans are slow-simmered in a robust sauce made with the craveably sweet heat of Mike’s Hot Honey® for an irresistible taste that’s worth all the buzz.

These are available in stores now, and there is no indication that they are a limited time item. But just in case, you may want to try them sooner rather than later.
