Cracker Barrel Spices Up Its Chicken Tenders and Chicken Sandwich

Country store Cracker Barrel is the latest place to kick things up with hot honey as it is adding a sweet-heat honey glaze to its Bee-Sting Chicken Tenders and Bee-Sting Chicken Sandwich. The hand-breaded tenders are served with two sides along with a choice of biscuits or cornbread and that sells for $12.99 in my area. The sandwich offers a hand-breaded breast filet covered in the spicy glaze along with pickles and mayonnaise and it is comes with one side for $11.99. These are limited-time options and you can check for a location in your area at their website.

Potbelly Introduces Jalapeno Popper Chicken Sandwich

Sandwich chain Potbelly is kicking things up with its addition of the Jalapeno Popper Chicken Sandwich to its menu. Following is the official description from the website:

All the kick and creaminess of a Jalapeño Popper, with all-natural grilled chicken, housemade jalapeño cream cheese, and crunchy jalapeño crisps, toasted the Potbelly way.

It sells for $9.69 in my area and the sandwich is only available for a limited time. You can find a location near you at the Potbelly website.

Popcorners Adds a New Spicy Flavor

And speaking of poppers, Popcorners is introducing the Jalapeno Popper flavor to its line of popped-corn chips.  (That’s a lot of popping going on!) This flavor offers “a mix of jalapeño heat with the taste of smooth and savory cheese” and it joins two other kicked-up options from those healthy chips, the Spicy Queso and Sweet Chili. These will be around for the dreaded limited-time-only, and you can find them in grocery stores and health food markets.
