With a heavy heart we regret to inform everyone that we will be closing our doors next Saturday the 29th. As we go through these next days we will be open for dine in and Togo service (cash/cash app/zelle/venmo only) come on out one last time, or two, we’d love to see you and say good bye for now…

Revolutionary Wings got its start as a food truck in 2016 before opening its brick-and-mortar location on East Ramsey Rd in 2023. They are known for their unique wings combinations such as Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Black Garlic and Butter, Cubano Pork, and Peanut Butter & Jelly (!), and I stopped by there last year to sample their two hottest flavors (you can read my review here). After that I added them to my Spicy San Antonio list which tracks the best places around town to find the heat.
In November of last year, the owners put out a plea to their fans to help out as the restaurant was going through some hard times. Apparently, that got them through the holidays, but now they have made the tough decision to close down for good. Saturday March 29th will be their last day, and since they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, that only gives five days for fans of the restaurant to pay at least one last visit. They are currently only accepting payment in cash or Cash App, Zelle, or Venmo.
I don’t know if they will try to revive their food truck, and I will be reaching out to the owners to see what their future plans are. In the meantime, be sure to stop by Revolutionary Wings one more time this week to enjoy their wonderfully original take on hot wings.
